Petrovac by the Sea is a beautiful town located at the Montenegro coast, approx. a half way between the towns of Budva and Bar.
Petrovac has two sand/pebble beaches. The main Petrovac beach is approx. 800m long. The second beach, Luchice, is located 500m further SE from the main beach. It is approx 200m long.
About 1000m in the sea there are two small islands that substantially contribute to the exstetics of the town. They are St. Sunday (with remainings of a small chappel at the top of the island), and Katich (with a few pine trees).
Its cultural and historic monuments include mosaics dating to the III century and fortress Kastelo, built by the Venetians in the XVI century.
